This afternoon I was pleasantly surprised when I received a letter from our TN ASID Chapter President, Tiny Jones, ASID. So, I will share it with you all and please - as always, feel free to comment!!!
This letter to all interested parties will prove to you that you can begin
to teach an old dog new tricks. When the younger members of the
ASID Tennessee Chapter Board decided that we needed to participate
with all new technology and talking about blogging and twitter -
I could not imagine what language they were speaking.
I now have learned
to blog
and twitter
and I understand about facebook.
I hope that we can make information available using these new and exciting
methods to promote ASID in Tennessee and our five districts. We must
always look for positive ways to educate the public about the work that we
love and want to share.
Let our motto be "Working together we will build a greater Tennessee ASID."
Tiny Jones, ASID
President of Tennessee Chapter
So, There you have it! What a trooper!!! Tiny has lead the TN Chapter of ASID to excellence and sees the wave of the future happening before her - And, being Tiny, she isn't going to be left out of the loop!
The old adage of "Old Dog, New Tricks" may be easy to say - But, Tiny is proof positive you can do anything you set out to do!
Further proving - "Working together we will build a greater Tennessee ASID"
Thank you Tiny for taking the time to send this fantastic letter!
Until next time!!!
